Mr. Earl M. Allen

  Services for Mr. Earl M. Allen, 60, of Marthaville, were held at
3 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 1995, at First Baptist Church,
Marthaville. Officiating were the Rev. Ray Dyess, Burial will be
at Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St.
Denis Funeral Home.

  Mr. Allen died Friday, June 2, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital.
He was a native of Marthaville. He was the owner of College
Cleaners in Natchitoches, a U.S. Army veteran, member, and deacon
of the First Baptist Church of Marthaville.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora B. Allen of Marthaville;
one son, Elton R. Allen of Marthaville; one daughter, Michelle
Mathews of Bellwood; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Clemons of
Shreveport; two brothers, Dan Allen of Stonewall, and Dennis
Coleman of Ruston; two grandchildren, Krystal Adams, and Hunter
Allen Mathews.

  He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Fountain; and
his mother and father, Elton Allen and Gertie Coleman.

  Pallbearers were Shane Coleman, Ronnie Allen, Ira Berry, David
McFerrin, Darrell Brian, and Randy Allen.

  Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Clemons, Kevin Berry, and
Deacons of the First Baptist Church in Marthaville.
