Earl M. Allen

  Earl M. Allen, 60, of Marthaville, died Friday, Jun 2, at 7:44
p.m., at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  A native of Marthaville, Mr. Allen was owner of College Cleaners
of Natchitoches. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and
a member, and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Marthaville.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, June 4, at 3 p.m., at the
First Baptist Church of Marthaville. The Rev. Ray Dyess
officiated, with burial following in the Marthaville Cemetery,
under the direction of the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

  Mr. Allen is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora B. Allen of
Marthaville; one son, Elton R. Allen of Marthaville; one
daughter, Michelle Mathews of Bellwood; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn
Clemons of Shreveport; two brothers, Dan Allen of Stonewall, and
Dennis Coleman of Ruston; and two grandchildren, Krystal Adams,
and Hunter Allen Mathews. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Elton Allen and Gertie Coleman; and a sister, Mildred
Fountain.

  Pallbearers were Shane Coleman, Ronnie Allen, Ira Berry, David
McFerrin, Darrell Brian, and Randy Allen. Honorary pallbearers
were Wade Clemons, Kevin Berry, and the Deacons of the First
Baptist Church of Marthaville.
