Mrs. Lawrence Allen

  Mrs. Lawrence Allen died in New Orleans, after a lengthy
illness.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, in
Tharp-Sontheimer Funeral Home Chapel in New Orleans. Graveside
services were in Minden Cemetery, at 10 a.m., Thursday. Burial
was under the direction of Green-Kleinegger Funeral Home.

  Survivors are her husband; two sons, Lawrence Allen Jr. of
Albuquerque, N.M., and Joe Allen of Many; three daughters, Miss
Nan Allen, Mrs. W. T. Hooper of New Orleans, and Mrs. M. R.
Plonsky of Lafayette; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.
Charles Hart of Shreveport, and Mrs. William Luck of Leesville.
