Mrs. Susie Allen

  Mrs. Susie Allen, 82, of Shreveport, died Friday, March 15,
after a lengthy illness.

  Services were held Sunday, March 17, in the Springridge Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Pugh, and the Rev. Oliver Prothro
officiating. Interment was in the Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Sonny Allen, Peter Gray, Dan Allen, Phillip
Allen, Randell Ward, and Calvin Edwards.

  Survivors include three sons, John L. Allen, and J. B. Allen,
both of Robeline, and Woodroe Allen of Shreveport; four
daughters, Mrs. Beulah Cummins of Shreveport, Mrs. Helen Rigden
of Coushatta, Mrs. Ellen Edwards of Harrisburg, Ark., and Mrs.
Ann Anomile Priest of Shreveport; one brother, George Campbell of
Provencal; one sister, Mrs. Mollie Alford of Provencal; thirty
grandchildren; and thirty two great grandchildren.
