James S. Allen

  James S. Allen, lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill, died at 9:45
p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13, at the Prothro Clinic.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the
Spring Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. H. R. Saunders, pastor of
the Lake Charles Nazarene Church officiating.

  Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, with the Hixson Funeral
Home of Leesville in charge.

  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Allen; one daughter, Betty
Allen; two sons, Kenny, and Dicky; and his father, Audie Allen of
Pleasant Hill; one sister, Mrs. O. E. Loftin; and one brother,
Perry Allen, both of Lake Charles. - Reporter.
