Allred, 42, died in Many, March 27, at 11 a.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Many, March 28, with the Rev. Gerald Martin, and the Rev. Wayne Reeves officiating. Burial was in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Surviving relatives include three sons, Ricky, Gary, and Terry Allred, all of Orange, Tex.; two daughters, Ann, and Cathy Allred, both of Orange, Tex.; his father, John E. Allred Sr. of Lucedle, Miss.; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Rhodes of Orange, Tex.; one brother, Jack Allred of Kermit, Tex.; and six sisters, Mrs. Harry Walker of Many, Mrs. Gay Nell Yarbrough of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Dorothy Sue Moore of Orange, Tex., Mrs. Norma Hallmark of Vidor, Tex., Mrs. Faye Womack of Deweyville, Tex., and Mrs. Wanda Crothers of Vinton. Pallbearers were Kenneth Walker, Gene Walker, Rodney Walker, Hoy Hallmark, Floyd Peterson, and Jerry Foreman.
