Angell, 64, were at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Wellman Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Bob Moore of Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in Forest Park West. Mrs. Angell died Saturday, May 9, at Nursecare Nursing Home, after a long illness. Mrs. Angell was a housewife, and a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was born at Black Rock, Ark., and was a 40 year resident of Shreveport. Survivors are her husband, Owen C. Angell of Shreveport; a son, Charles Owen Angell of Shreveport; a daughter, Patricia Spiller of Many; a brother, Woodrow Anderson of Harrisburg, Ark.; four sisters, Lula Jean Kingston of Jonesboro, Ark.; Loretta Hawk of Houston, Tex.; Avis Cole of Fort Worth, Tex.; Lotus Gonzales of Sacramento, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clarence Webb, Joe Poland, John Stonecipher, Billy Davis, Lester Sanders, and Billy Taylor.
