Mr. Anthony was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Sabine Parish. He was a graduate of Northwestern State, and served in the Air Corps during World War II. He was a graduate of Northwestern State, and served in the Air Corps during World War II. He was employed as manager of a furniture store. He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife, Mary Barr; three sons, James W. Anthony, and Christopher B. Anthony of Shreveport, and Thomas L. Anthony of Dallas; three grandchildren, Erin Anthony of Dallas, and Kenneth, and Angela Anthony of Shreveport, and Mrs. Doris Miller of San Antonio. Private memorial services were held on Friday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m., in the parlor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Anthony's memory to the Leukemia Society of America, 1440 Canal St., Suite 2230, New Orleans, La. 70112.
