Anthony, 89, of Florien, were held Monday, Jan. 13, 1997, at 2 p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Doug Chance, Rev. Michel DeRosie, and Rev. Jimmy Evans. Interment was at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Anthony died Friday, Jan. 10, at Willis Knighton North, Shreveport. She was preceded in death by husbands, Jasper (Bud) Delatin, and Hoy Anthony; two sons, Howard, and Mac Anthony. She is survived by two daughters, Juanita Blackwell of Sulphur, Bettye Lafitte of Shreveport; seven sons, Wilton Anthony of Arcadia, Jimmy Anthony of Shreveport, Charles Anthony of Denton, Texas, Robert Anthony, M. G. Anthony, both of Florien, Buddy Anthony of Vernon, Ala., and Gordon Anthony of Florien; 37 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Allan, Keith, James Lynn, Thomas, Trent, Terry, Tim, Ryan Anthony, and Billy Hopkins, Ricky Blackwell. Honorary pallbearers were all other grandsons, Reo Wright, Ralph Funderburk, Mike Morgan, Todd Martin, Howard Smith, Frank DeRosie, Tracy McComic, Alfice Brumley, David Little, John Skinner, and Roby Lang.
