C. R. Anthony, Sr.

  Funeral services were held for Mr. C. R. Anthony Sr., 74, of
Negreet, at the Little Flock Baptist Church, May 21, at 2:00
p.m., with Rev. Larry Jenkins, and Rev. Frank Chance officiating.
Burial was in Little Flock Cemetery.

  Surviving relatives were his wife, Mrs. C. R. Anthony Sr. of
Negreet; sons, C. R. Anthony Jr. of Florien, and Wayne Anthony of
Baton Rouge; daughters, Mrs. Lela Belle Miller of Highland,
California, Mrs. Irene McClain of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs.
Syble Woods of Long Island, New York; one sister, Mrs. W. L.
Salter of Negreet. He was also survived by twelve grandchildren;
and five great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Donald Savell, Lamar Salter, Larry Miller,
Donald Anthony, Odis Lyman Branam, and Douglas Salter.
