Mrs. Cecile Andries

  Mrs. Cecile Armstrong Andries, 95, of Many, died in Many on
Friday, August 1, at 9:40 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alma Hunter of Shreveport,
and Mrs. Irene Gandy of Many; four sons, Claude Andries, Harold
Andries, and Hubert Andries, all of Many, and Luke Andries of
Jackson, Miss.; 29 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 4
great-great grandchildren.

  Mrs. Andries was a life-long resident of Many.

  Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic church on
Saturday, August 2, at 4 p.m., with the Msgr. T. J. Lennon
officiating. Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
