Jim Anderson

  Jim Anderson, 71, of Benson, died in DeSoto General Hospital in
Mansfield, Sunday, Dec. 25, at 6:30 a.m., following a brief
illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rena Anderson of Benson; three
sons, Johnny Anderson of Monroe, Archie Anderson of Shreveport;
and Alfred Anderson of Clute, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Irene
Paddie of Noble, Mrs. Nathalene Jackson of Singapore, Mrs.
Marilyn Raburn of Noble, and Mrs. Geneva Redding of Brezoria,
Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Moore of Center, Tex,; 26
grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Shady Grove Baptist Church on
Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul Freeant officiated.
Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Daniel Anderson, Alex Anderson, Rodney
Anderson, Alfred Anderson, Billy Ray Paddie, and Michael Wayne
Jackson.
