(Andy) Anderson, 65, of Shreveport, were held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with the Rev. Roy E. Chapman, pastor of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Anderson died Saturday, February 23, 1985, at Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a sudden illness. Mr. Anderson, a self employed trucker associated with Melton Truck Line, was born in Minden, and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 43 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Margie H. Anderson; one son, Scott Monroe Anderson of Shreveport; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and James Thomas of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Gates of Mitchell, La.; two granddaughters, Buffy Thomas, and Piper Thomas; one grandson, Ronald Wayne Anderson Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Wayne Anderson. Pallbearers were Duncan McRoe Jr., Walt Saunders, Jim Elkins, Lester Brazzill, Tommy Quinn, Patrick Quinn, J. D. Jolley, Bob Norton. Honorary pallbearers were Kirby Cooper, Sam Chisholm, Don Coldrow, Jim Hollifield, Joel Smith.
