Mr. E. R. (Pete) Anderson

  Mr. E. R. (Pete) Anderson of Mt. Carmel, died at the age of 86,
in Shreveport, La., on October 7, 1987.

  Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, on October 9,
at 2 p.m., with Rev. Larry DeLoach, and Rev. G. Pat Jackson
officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Exie Anderson of Mt. Carmel; one
son, J. B. Anderson of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren; and five
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included T. H. Williams Jr., Marion McComic, Ray
McComic, Jerry Bridges, Donald Bridges, and Mark Stewart.
