  Mrs. Exie Sarah Anderson - January 28, 1988

  Mrs. Exie Sarah Anderson, 82, of Mt. Carmel, died in Shreveport,
La. on Sunday, Jan. 24, 1988.

  Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Tuesday, Jan.
26, 1988 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Larry DeLoach and Rev. Vessie
Pruitt officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  She is survived by one son, J. B. Anderson of Florien; one
brother, Louis Skinner of Hagewood; five sisters, Melva Curry,
Bessie Weldon and Cora Smith, all of Mt. Pleasant, Iberia
Mothershed of Florien and Pearlie Dupree of Mansfield; two
granddaughters; Karen Moushon and Lisa Barefield, both of
Shreveport; two grandsons, Lyn Anderson of Alexandria and Ron
Anderson of Houston, Tx.; one step grandson, David Allen of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were Johnny Skinner, Arlon Skinner, Mickey Curry,
Jimmy Jessup, Dennis Weldon and Elton Smith.
