  Mrs. Lender Bell Anderson - February 25, 1988

  Mrs. Lender Bell Anderson, 91, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many on Feb. 20, 1988.

  Services were held at Oak Hill Baptist Church on Feb. 22 at 2
p.m. with Rev. Elsie Walker officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill
Cemetery under the directions of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, W. C. (Bill) Anderson of Many;
three sons, George Oscar Anderson of Shreveport, Kenneth Anderson
and R. H. Anderson, both of Many; four daughters, Arlene Pilcher
and Kathryn Carter, both of Many, Berth Gaudy of Shreveport and
Opal Marr of Simsboro; 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren
and five great great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers include Jimmy Anderson, Mike Anderson, Larry Marr,
Clint Anderson, Kerry Anderson, Kenny Carter, Terry Carter and
Carl Pilcher.

  Honorary Pallbearers were Quinton Brandon, Pat Merritt, Sidney
Turnley, James Guay, Bo Carlx, Harry Walker, O. L. Rodgers and
Eugene Rodgers.
