  W. C. "Bill" Anderson - March 31, 1988

  Mr. W. C. "Bill" Anderson, 95, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many on March 27, 1988.

  Services were held at Oak Hill Baptist Church at 2 p.m., March
29 with Rev. Elsie Walker officiating. Burial was at the church
cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Anderson was the owner of Bill's Bar-B-Que.

  Survivors include three sons, George Oscar Anderson of
Shreveport, Kenneth Anderson and R. H. Anderson, both of Many;
four daughters, Arlene Pilcher and Kathryn Carter, both of Many,
Bertha Gandy of Shreveport and Opal Marr of Simsboro; 19
grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and five great great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers included Jimmy Anderson, Kerry Anderson, George
Anderson, Kenny Carter, Mike Anderson, Clint Anderson, Larry
Marr, Terry Carter and Carl Pilcher.

  Honorary pallbearers were Quinton Brandon, Pat Merritt, Sidney
Turnley, James Guay, Billy Guay, Bo Cain, Harry Walker, James D.
Rogers and Jerome Rogers.
