Anderson, 77, died in Noble, La., on Saturday, May 20, 1989, at 9:40 a.m. Services were held at Noble United Pentecostal Church, on Monday, May 22, 1989, at 11 a.m., with the Reverends Allen Cherry, C. W. Hagan, and Jerry Green officiating. Burial was at Noble Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. Anderson was a native and lifelong resident of Noble, a former oil driller and production foreman for Texaco Oil Co., former Noble City Councilman for over 20 years, and a member of the Noble United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Anderson of Noble; two sons, Jack E. Anderson of Stonewall, La., and Orland R. Anderson of Noble; two daughters, LaNell A. Rogers of Converse, and Barbara A. Parker of Pasadena, Tex.; two brothers, Herman D. Anderson of Noble, and Kearney O. Anderson of Zwolle; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Allen Anderson, Roger Kevin Anderson, Jeffrey Dwayne Anderson, Orland Ray Anderson Jr., Timothy Ray Anderson, and Billy Keith Parker. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of the Noble United Pentecostal Church.
