All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Reuben Dale (Andy) Anderson Reuben Dale (Andy) Anderson, born April 15, 1922, in Many, Louisiana, died November 23, 1991, in a Minneapolis, Minnesota Hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. He was a resident of Manden, North Dakota for approximately the last 10 years. He was raised in Doyline, La., where he was active in the Baptist Church, and participated in the high school basketball program. He went on to further his studies at Mississippi College, and Tulane University. He enlisted in the Navy in World War II, and spent his tour in the South Pacific. He went on to a career in the pipeline industry, which involved meeting and touching the hearts of people all across the country for 36 years. Most notable, some 20 years in Nashville, Tennessee, where he raised his three children, and worked for H. C. Price Construction Co. He spent his last years in North Dakota, providing companionship for senior citizens. He will long be remembered for all the lives he touched. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Emil Anderson; his mother, Laura Belle Anderson; his brother, Virgil Anderson; and a grandchild, James A. Grau. He leaves to mourn his passing, a close and dear friend, Marilyn Renner of Mandan, N. D.; a daughter, Marian S. Sparks and her husband Harry of Baytown, Tex.; 2 sons, William M. Anderson of Baytown, Tex. And his wife Denise, and Marc D. Anderson of Livingston, La. and his wife Kathy; one sister, Alice Hines of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Dr. Maurice J. Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Dr. Howard Anderson of Baton Rouge, La.; four grandchildren, Matthew D. and Mandi L. Anderson, and Rusty R., and Gary L. Sparks; numerous other relatives; and many dear friends throughout the country.
