The Rev. Mel Zerger officiated. Burial was at Noble Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, La. Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday morning, September 28, 1988, at North Sabine Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, La. after a lengthy illness. She was born in Converse, La. and was a resident of Noble for 59 years. Mrs. Anderson was retired as a schoolteacher in the Sabine Parish School System. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Noble. She is survived by her husband, H. D. Anderson of Noble; one sister, Emma Maye Tatum of Odessa, Texas; one nephew, Smith Tatum of Odessa; and a host of cousins.
