James A. "Andy" Anders

  Funeral services for Mr. James A. "Andy" Anders, 75, of
Leesville, were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 1993, at the
First Baptist Church in Leesville, with the Reverends Wallace
Palmer, and Aubrey Veuleman officiating.

  After the church services, there was a visitation period in the
Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Robeline, at 2 p.m., Tuesday,
August 3, with the graveside services at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday,
August 3, at Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of
Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home in Leesville.

  Mr. Anders is survived by his wife, Christine Anders of
Leesville; daughter and son-in-law, Jody and James Shapkoff Jr.
of Leesville; one brother, Jimmy Ray Anders of Robeline; four
sisters, Vesta Rains of Robeline, Marie Rains, and Mildred Allen,
both of Marthaville, and Yvonne Osburn of Robeline, La.; five
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
