Anderson Sr., 77, formerly of Shreveport, passed away at Tomball General Hospital, April 12, 1994, in Tomball, Tex. Services were held in Klein Funeral Home Chapel, April 14. Interment was at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball, Texas. L. C. was born in Hemphill, Texas, the son of Wick and Maggie Crowell Anderson, who preceded him in death; also a brother, Luther Anderson. He received his education in Florien and Many. He married Faye Lyles of Shreveport in January 1939, and followed Steel Construction work for a few years, before going to work for Texas Eastern Pipeline Transmission Co. in Shreveport, where he retired 30 years later. They moved to Tomball, Texas to be near his son and family during the last days of his illness. He is survived by his wife, Faye Lyles Anderson of Tomball; one son, L. C. Jr. and wife Clara Anderson of Tomball, Texas; two grandchildren, Tammy Vailes of Shreveport, and Terri Shirey of Tomball, Texas; three great grandchildren; one brother, Weldon and wife Cleta Anderson of Many; 13 nieces and nephews; with a host of great, and great-great nieces and nephews; also many, many cousins, who will miss him greatly.
