Anderson, 69, of Many, entered into rest Monday, March 8, at Schumpert Medical Center, following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 12, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road in Shreveport. Interment followed at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Truman Leach, pastor of Trinity Heights Baptist Church in Many, officiated. Mrs. Anderson was a resident of Many for 20 years, and was a former resident of Shreveport. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Past President of Point Sabine Civic Club, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Many. She was also a retired employee at AT&T, after 30 years of service. Survivors include her husband, David E. "Andy" Anderson of Many; one daughter, Beverly A. Didier of Baton Rouge; two sons, David E. Anderson Jr. and wife Carol of Baton Rouge, and Jack P. Anderson and wife Sharon of Jackson, Miss.; five sisters, Era Lodell Favell, Billie Sue Nellums, Gertie Mozell Pace, Hannah Marie Howe, Nancy Joy Roshto; one brother, Richard C. Haynes of Shreveport; and eight grandchildren, Cheryl Poss, Scott Didier, Jack Anderson Jr., Dawn Didier, Michael Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Dana Didier, Steven Anderson; and one great grandchild, Jackson Poss.
