All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Doris Phares Andries Mrs. Doris Phares Andries, 82, of Jackson, Miss., died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at St. Dominic's Hospital, from complications of a long illness. Mrs. Andries, a native of Shreveport, has been a resident of Jackson, Miss., since 1945. She and her husband, Luke Andries owned and operated Andries Welding Supply, and Sesco Inc. They were married for 59 years. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Mrs. Andries is survived by her sister, Dean Stinson Clark of Monroe; and seven children, Lucy Phillips of Columbus, Jim Andries, John Andries, Mike Andries, Mary Jane Mason, Linda Walshock, and Janet Keys, all of Jackson, Miss.; 19 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
