Funeral services were held in Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Thursday, Dec. 8, with the Rev. G. C. Berly, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include four sons, James A. Anders of Leesville, J. D. Anders of Pineville, Elmer, and Jimmy Ray Anders, both of Robeline; six daughters, Mrs. Josie Rains of Shreveport, Mrs. Ruby Allen, Mrs. Vesta Louise Rains, and Mrs. Yvonne Osburn, all of Robeline, Mrs. Marie Rains, and Mrs. Mildred Allen of Marthaville; one brother, R. J. Veuleman of Robeline; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Hale, and Mrs. Blanche Rains of Marthaville, and Mrs. Maude Cutright of Bossier City; 32 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. The pallbearers were the grandsons.
