Ammons, 52, of Fairbanks, Alaska, died October 18, in Fairbanks, as the results of an accident. Mr. Ammons is a native of Sabine Parish, and former resident of Zwolle. His body arrived by plane in Shreveport, Sunday evening, and was taken to the United Pentecost Church in Zwolle, Monday morning, at 10 a.m., to lie in state until serivce time. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at the Zwolle United Pentecost Church, with the Rev. Jack Terrell, and the Rev. D. W. Ward officiating. Interment was in the Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Ammons is survived by his wife, Peggy Ammons of Fairbanks, Alaska; one son, Dalton of Fairbanks; his mother, Mrs. Anna Ammons of Zwolle; two brothers, Archi Ammons of Zwolle, and Delmar Ammons of Jonesboro, and one sister, Mrs. Cleola Laroue of Natchitoches.
