Doshie Ammons

  Doshie Ammons, 84, of Shreveport, died here Sunday, Sept. 2,
after a long illness.

  Services were Monday, Sept. 3, in Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, with burial in Shamrock Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Pinky B. Ammons of Shreveport;
two sons, Calvin Ammons, and Bert Ammons, both of Robeline; two
daughters, Dorothy Freeman of Robeline, and Hazel Lawrence of
Shreveport; three brothers, Amos Austin of Shreveport, Louis
Austin of Belmont, and Solan Austin of Mitchell; five sisters,
Hattie Mae Batson of Mansfield, Maude Rhodes of Shreveport, Mrs.
J. C. Thompson of Missouri, Ula Stoker of Pennsylvania, and Mrs.
D. D. Ammons of Kansas City, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; and 35 great
grandchildren.
