Mrs. Velma Ammons

  Jan 22 1992 - Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Ammons, 92, were
held Monday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. at Warren Meadows Chapel. Rev.
Freddie Hippler officiated. Interment followed at Pilgram Rest
Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home..

  Mrs. Ammons died Saturday, Jan 18 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home
in Many.

  She is survived by two daughters Theresa A. Reeves of
Nacogdoches, TX and Mildred E. Slaven of Pasadena, TX; two
sisters, Nettie Maxey and Bertha Hippler, both of Many; 10
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Mrs. Ammons was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Ammons
and a son, C. R. Ammons.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Ammons, Robert Ammons, Hugh Reeves,
Danny Slaven, Larry Ammons and Glenn Slaven.
