Officiating were Rev. E. E. Walker. Interment was in Fenders Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mrs. Ammons died July 18, at Heritage Manor #1 of Many. Mrs. Ammons was born July 1, 1902, in Miller County, Ark., to Nettie Crump and Emmett Peterson. Survivors include three daughters, Nettie Mae Isgitt, and Martha Jean Ammons of Many, and Florence Clorine LaRue of Shreveport; two sons, Ellis Cedric Ammons of Baton Rouge, and Emmitt Haskell Ammons of Picayune, Miss.; 20 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oree Ammons; and one son, J. D. Ammons. Pallbearers were Larry Blackmon, Mark Remedies, Chris Milner, Glen Isgitt, Wayne Campbell, Cesar Isgitt, Edward Milner, and Justin Walters.
