Delmer Arvel Ammons, Sr. (Photo)

  Delmer Arvel Ammons Sr., 76, of Zwolle, died Nov. 13, 2001, at
Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Nov. 16, at First United
Pentecostal Church of Zwolle, with interment following at
Bethsadia Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Charlene Ammons of Zwolle; two
sons, Delmer Ammons Jr. and wife Joanna of Zwolle, and Kevin
Ammons and Jeannine of Natchitoches; two daughters, Shonnie
Montgomery and husband Loy of Pollock, and Nelda Hicks and
husband Sherald of Many; sister, Cleola Chism of Natchitoches;
brother, Archie Ammons of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; five
great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; eight step great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Mr. Ammons was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer Ammons,
and Dalton Ammons; sister, Reba Crnkovic; and parents, Burtis,
and Arma Ammons.

  Pallbearers were Chris Ammons, David Clary, Shane Clary, Brent
Montgomery, Kyle Montgomery, and Jerry Taylor Jr.
