Funeral services were held in the Shamrock Adventist Church, April 6, with the Rev. Elmer Shoemake officiating. Burial was in the Shamrock Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Surviving relatives include her husband, Burtis Ammons of Robeline; a son, David Ammons of Robeline; five daughters, Donna Sue, Cheryl, Rose Mary, Annie Mae, and Eva Ammons, all of Robeline; two brothers, Jessie James, and Joe Ruth Pruitt of Robeline; five sisters, Marjorie Buchans of Jonesboro, Dorothy Sims of Shreveport, Betty Lou Jordan of Robeline, Hazel Blue of Robeline, and Retta Broadway of Robeline.
