William Arie

  William Arie, 95, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 3:25 a.m., at the
V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, after a short illness.

  Funeral services for Mr. Arie were held Thursday, Sept. 2, at 2
p.m., at graveside, Shamrock Cemetery. Burial was also at
Shamrock Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Bro. Earl Marr officiated.

  Mr. Arie is survived by three sons, William E. Arie of
Natchitoches, Ralph Arie, Shreveport, O. D. Arid of Center,
Texas; two daughters, Betty Jones, Grand Cane, Mattie LeFeat,
Many; thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
