Eola Greer Arie

  Services for Mrs. Eola Greer Arie, age 89, were held Thursday,
September 12, at 2:30 p.m., in Spring Ridge Baptist Church near
Pleasant Hill. Interment followed at Spring Ridge Cemetery, under
the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mrs. Arie died Tuesday, September 10, at Sabine Medical Center
in Many.

  She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, July 29, 1902. Mrs. Arie was
a member of Spring Ridge Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.

  Mrs. Arie was preceded in death by her husband William Jennings
Bryant Arie.

  Survivors include three sisters, Dessie Welch and husband Evan
of Blanchard, Hazel Shafer and husband Jessie, also of Blanchard,
and Johnnie Slay and husband Jewel of Mansfield; one brother,
Bobby Cobb and wife Eva of Blanchard; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were her nephews.
