Floyd J. Arthur

  Mr. Floyd J. Arthur, 86, of Conroe, Tex., died Wednesday, Jan.
15, after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m., at the
Toro Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ed Smith officiating. Burial
was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Arthur of Conroe; two
sons, Norman Arthur of Meridian, Miss., and Noel Arthur of
Conroe, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. C. C. Thaxton of Conroe; 10
grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
