The Sabine Index - J. J. Arthur

  14 Apr 1961 - Last rites for J. J. Arthur, age 81, who died
April 10 were conducted at Beulah Baptist Church, at 1 p.m. April
11 with Rev. P. M. Caraway officiating, assisted by Rev. Delman
Rogers. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Allan and E. C. Ross, Eugene Wright, Darold
McDonald, D. J. Derrick and Douglas Carroll.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Minnie Arthur of Shreveport; three
daughters, Mrs. June McDonald, Mrs. Bennie Carroll and Mrs. G. W.
Ricketts all of Shreveport; one brother, J. W. Arthur of Many;
three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Ross and Mrs. F. D. Rhodes both of
Many, Mrs. Audrey Camp of Lubbock, Texas, eight grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren.
