Mrs. G. R. Arthur

  Services for Mrs. G. R. Arthur, 92, of Shreveport, were held at
10 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, at Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Dr.
William E. Hull, pastor of the First Baptist Church, were Mrs.
Arthur was a member, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Arthur, born in Sabine Parish, and a resident of Shreveport
for 53 years, died Friday, October 15, at her residence, after a
long illness. She was a homemaker.

  She is survived by her sons, Kermit Arthur, and William C.
Arthur of Shreveport, and Orvis T. Arthur of Wimberley, Tex.;
daughters, Mrs. Robbie McGuire of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Yvonne
Youse of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great
grandchildren; sister, Miss Clara Boswell of Many.

  Pallbearers : grandsons.

  Honorary pallbearers: Algie Brown, Bevman Cheesman, Frank
Pernici.
