Elmer W. Arthur

  Elmer W. Arthur, 68, died Friday, Jan. 29, at 9:30 p.m., at
Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many.

  Funeral services were held at Little Flock Baptist Church,
Sunday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bill Foil, and Rev. Lewis
Skinner officiating. Interment was at Little Flock Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Arthur is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillian S. Arthur of
Many; three sons, Joseph Luther Arthur, Elmer Roland Arthur, and
Terry Lynn Arthur, all of Florien; two daughters, Betty Golemon
of Lake Charles, and Nelda Pace of Keithville; three brothers,
Edgar Arthur of Leesville, and Ottis Arthur, and Bernice Arthur,
both of Florien; four sisters, Margie Addison of Port Arthur,
Tex., Pauline Stringer of Florien, and Pearl Anderson, and Ruby
McNeely, both of Many; 10 grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.
