Florien Arthur

  Florien Arthur, 75, of Many, died in the Fraser Hospital, on
Monday, Feb. 15, at 9:37 a.m.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m., in the
Ft. Jesup Baptist Church, with the Rev. Arthur Haymon
officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Ray Penfield, and the
Rev. Earl Marr. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Dowden
Arthur of Many; four sons, Jerry, and Mike Arthur of Many, LeRoy
Arthur of Vinton, Tex., and Pat Arthur of Alvin, Tex.; one
daughter, Linda Rains of Many; five sisters, Librene Riggs,
Vergie Turner, Ruby Middleton, and Bennie Jean Gardner, all of
Shreveport, and Eula Arthur of Many; one brother, Grover Arthur
of Noble, and nine grandsons.

  Pallbearers were Hosea Ebarb, Lastle Miller, Tommy Ray Dowden,
Joe Don Cook, Mac Lyddy, and Bobby Dowden.

  Honorary Pallbearers were the Deacons of the Ft. Jesup Baptist
Church.
