Wesley Scott Arthur

  Funeral services for Wesley Scott Arthur, 17, of Many, were held
in the Fort Jesup Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Arthur Haymon, and the Rev. Jerry Arthur officiated.
Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows funeral Home.

  The youth died at approximately 12:45 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 27, as
a result of an automobile accident.

  Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Arthur of Many;
his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Florien Arthur, and the late Mr.
and Mrs. E. P. Rains; his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey
Rains, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rains, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Arthur, Mr.
and Mrs. LeRoy Arthur, and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Arthur; and 12
cousins.

  Wesley was a senior at Many High, and was employed by Byles
Welding and Tractor Co. He was also a member of the National
Guard.
