Irene Arthur

  Mrs. Irene Arthur, 53, died Wednesday, May 11, 1983, at L. S. U.
Medical Center, after a short illness.

  She is survived by four sons, Gary Arthur, Many, Larry Arthur,
Bossier City, James Arthur, Blanchard, La., Richard Arthur,
Bossier City; two daughters, LaJune Smallwood, Rhonda Arthur,
both of Bossier City; two brothers, Roland Carter, Ronald Carter,
both of Many; two sisters, Peggy Hildebrand, Mansfield, Louise
Overturf, Jasper, Tex.; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur were held Friday, May 13, at 2
p.m., at Beulah Baptist Church, with burial following at Beulah
Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. J. D. Favors officiated.
Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
