Bernice Earl Arthur (Photo)

  Mr. Bernice Earl Arthur, 69, of Florien, died in Many, on August
9, 1987.

  Services were held at Florien First Baptist Church, on August
12, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Mack Brister officiating. Burial was at
Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Eloise Hennigan Arthur of Florien;
three daughters, Connie Williams of Salem, Oregon, Sandra Sibley
of Florien, and Judy Borden of Biloxi, Mississippi; four sisters,
Ruby McNeely, and Pearl Anderson, both of Many, Margie Addison of
Groves, Tex., and Pauline Stringer of Florien; two brothers,
Edgar Arthur of Leesville, and Otis Arthur of Florien; eight
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Joey Borden, Joey Dowden, Duane Calhoun, Van
Barnhill, Edgar Allen Arthur, Buddy Hennigan, Bill Williams, and
Charles Jett.
