All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Clint Arthur 22 Jan 1965 - Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 13, for Clint Arthur, 88, who passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at his home in Florien. The Rev. Versie Miller officiated, and was assisted by the Rev. Henry Isgitt and the Rev. J. R. Odom, at the services which were held in the Toro Baptist Church. Interment was in the Toro Cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were grandsons, Eual Dillard, Glen Cook, Earl Arthur, Ernest Mothershed, Billy Ray Jordan, Kenny Arthur, Eugene Arthur and Harold Jordan. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Arthur, Bufford Dillard, Doyle Lee Patrick, Wayne Cook, Benny Arthur and Robert Lynn Patrick. Mr. Arthur is survived by wife, Mrs. Clint Arthur of Florien; three sons, B. H. Arthur of Many, Howard Arthur of Florien and Robert F. Arthur of Natchitoches; five daughters, Mrs. Mertie Dillard and Mrs. Ethel Jordan of Robeline, Mrs. Gertie Patrick of De Quincy, Mrs. Lena Cook of Florien and Mrs. Joyce Bailey of Natchitoches; two brothers, R. L. Arthur of Natchitoches and R. F. Arthur of Pineville; one sister, Mrs. Lela Lilley of Florien; 24 grandchildren; and 53 great-grandchildren.
