Mr. Boston Arthur

  Funeral services for Mr. Boston Arthur were held Tuesday, June
27, at 2 p.m., at the Beulah Baptist Church, with Rev. Guy Burr
officiating. Interment followed in the Beulah Cemetery.

  Mr. Arthur passed away, June 25, 1989, at the Veterans
Administration Medical Center in Shreveport, La.

  He is survived by five sons, Douglas Eugene Arthur of Denham
Springs, La., Gary Winfred Arthur of Negreet, Larry Richard
Arthur of Minden, James Lane Arthur of Blanchard, Richard Glen
Arthur of Negreet; two daughters, Karen LaJune Smallwood of
Gainsville, Ga., Rhonda Lynn Arthur of Negreet, La.; one sister,
Nettie Harris of Geneva, Texas; eleven grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.

  Pallbearers were Kenny Carter, Ed Clevinger, Scott Salter, Drew
White, Troy Murray, and Jackie Harris.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
