Howard Henry Arthur

  Funeral services for Howard Henry Arthur, 87, were held at 1
p.m., Nov. 15, at Toro Baptist Church, with Rev. Silvertooth, and
Rev. Jimmy Evans officiating. Interment followed in Toro
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Arthur died at 7 p.m., Nov. 13, at Heritage Manor #2 in
Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Etna Stewart Arthur of Florien; one
son, Earl Arthur of Natchitoches; two daughters, Ruth Manning of
Florien, and Murrell Blake of Many; three sisters, Mertie Dillard
of Robeline, Joyce Smith of Natchitoches, and Gertie Patrick of
Ragley; two brothers, Harvey Arthur of Many, and Robert Arthur of
Natchitoches; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
