Mrs. Oma J. Arthur

  Funeral services for Mrs. Oma J. Arthur, 93, of Many, were held
at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 1, at Alford Heights Baptist Church.

  Rev. Jeff Hoffman, and Rev. Charles Luke officiated. Burial was
in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Arthur died on Dec. 30, in Willis Knighton Hospital, after
a brief illness.

  Survivors are her husband of 73 years, B. H. Arthur of Many; one
daughter, Laverne Lee and husband Lehron of Shreveport; two sons,
Eugene B. Arthur and wife Billie of Keithville, and Benny W.
Arthur and wife Jo of Slidell; eight grandchildren; 11 great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
