Patrick Dale Arthur

  Funeral services for Patrick Dale Arthur, 47, of Many, were held
Saturday, Dec. 28, 1996, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church
of Ft. Jesup. Officiating was Rev. Rob Tibbits, and Rev. Wayne
Hicks. Interment was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Arthur died Friday, Dec. 27, at the V.A. Hospital in
Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Florien Arthur; one
niece, Shay Rains; and one nephew, Wesley Arthur.

  He is survived by two sons, Lee Patrick Arthur of Houston,
Texas, and Brandon Arthur of Connecticut; mother, Mildred Arthur
of Many; sister, Linda Rains and husband, Earl, also of Many;
three brothers, Jerry Arthur and wife, Jerry of Many, Leroy
Arthur and wife Doodle of Vinton, and Michael Arthur and wife
Nettie Katherine of Many; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to
the love fund at Peoples State Bank.
