Mr. Joseph L. Arthur

  Mr. Joseph L. Arthur, 65, of Many, died Feb 28, 2002, at The
Summit Hospital in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., March 2, at Rose-Neath
Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Florien
Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Henderson, pastor of Gandy Baptist
Church, officiated, and the Rev. Ottis Branam, pastor of Little
Flock Baptist Church, assisted.

  Survivors include his mother, Lillian Arthur of Negreet; two
sons, Benjamin A. Arthur and wife Johnnie Faye, and Michael J.
Arthur, all of Many; two sisters, Betty A. Golemon and husband
Sherwood of Lake Charles, and Nelda Pace of Shreveport; one
brother, Roland Arthur and wife Gloria of Florien; four
grandchildren, Jared Arthur, Logan Arthur, Britney Arthur, and
Derrick Arthur, all of Many.

  Mr. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Elmer W. Arthur;
and brother, Terry Arthur.

  Pallbearers were Jared Arthur, Logan Arthur, Keith Arthur, Kevin
Arthur, John Templeton, and Lee Isgitt.
