The services were held in the Toro Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. R. Odom, and the Rev. Julius McCormick officiating. Burial was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Survivors include her three sons, B. H. Arthur of Many, Howard Arthur of Florien, and Robert (Son) Arthur of Natchitoches; five daughters, Mrs. Mertie Dillard of Robeline, Mrs. Gertie Patrick of DeQuincy, Mrs. Lena Cook of Florien, Mrs. Ethel Jordan of Robeline, and Mrs. Joyce Bailey of Campti; half brother, Wilson Chance of Ringgold; two half sisters, Mrs. L. H. Rivers of Noble, and Mrs. Titia Masters of Hornbeck; and 24 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
