Mrs. Sarah Arthur

  Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah M. Arthur, 84, were held at 2
p.m., Thursday, in the Hixson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jason
Kay officiating, assisted by the Rev. P. Lionel Crowell, and the
Rev. Johnny Mathis. Burial was in the Comrade Cemetery.

  Survivors include one son, B. A. Blackwell of Zwolle; two
stepsons, Archie Arthur of Florien, and Carl Arthur of Leesville;
two daughters, Mrs. L. H. Faulkner of Leesville, and Mrs. John
Cloran of Houston, Tex.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Grace Gentry of
Hornbeck; three brothers, Andrew Crager, and Ed Crager, both of
Shreveport, and Louis Crager of Leesville; two sisters, Mrs. E.
P. Key of Alco, and Mrs. I. A. Mothershed of Florien; seven
grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
