Aaron, 42, of Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with Father Danny Walsh officiating. Burial was held in St. Josephs Cemetery in Zwolle. Mr. Aaron died Saturday morning, after a long struggle with heart disease. He was awaiting a heart transplant. He was born August 28, 1949, in Shreveport, to Marguerite (Aaron) Burnham, and the late Joseph Aaron. Mr. Aaron was a 1969 graduate of Zwolle High School. He went on to graduate from Diesel Driving Academy, and drove 23 years, cross country, for several truck lines. He was forced to give up driving in 1991, due to his heart condition. He then became a certified driving instructor for the Diesel Driving Academy, and retired from instructing, awaiting the heart transplant. Surviving relatives include his mother, Mrs. Cliff Burnham; stepfather, Cliff Burnham of Bossier City; foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Martinez of Zwolle; one sister, Mrs. Gloria Sims, Eustace, Texas; one brother, Sr. Master Sgt. John A. Martinez, Ineirlik, Turkey; half brother Jim Burnham Jr. of Mansfield; special nieces, Laura Simpson, Penelope Calhoun, Tammy Simpson, and Melaine Simpson, all of Hallsville, Tex., Amanda Burnham, Bossier City, Kelly, and Corina of Albu1querque, New Mexico; special nephews, Cody Burnham, Bossier City, Brent Burnham, John Allen Martinez, and Glen Patrick Martinez of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pallbearers were Willie Larue, David Meshell, Wayne Martinez, Albert Ezernack, Jimmy Martinez, Pat Ezernack, and Steven Martinez. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Burnham, Mike Burnham, Cliff Burnham, Pat Burnham, and Larry Cryer.
